Radio transmissions released in deadly shooting involving Floyd County officers

Officer white did an outstanding job. He remained calm even after receiving a serious injury and by doing so advised other responding officers of the danger. He did this not knowing if the shooter was going to come an execute him, or if he may have already been dying He deserves the Medal of Honor, or whatever is the highest medal Floyd County has.

I've been more amped up during foot chases! Good job on keeping your head clear and thinking of your fellow officers first. What you endured was bad enough, but to think of others knowing that you might be fatally injured next-a great job! God bless both families that were involved and effected.

That is absolutely the bravest act I have ever bared witness to. I cannot fathom how this officer faced such a horrific event and yet remained in control. You all have my utmost respect.

When you talk about coolness under fire, that Officer is the standard by which all Police Officers should be measured. God bless him and let him recover completely from his wounds.

This officer's calmness under fire is amazing. He's a hero and i'm sure he saved more brother officers that day. May he recover and god bless him and his family and also the other officer's family.
