Robbery suspect wounded following police standoff

Wow I am very shocked at the comments that are being posted. I happen to be the sister of the young man who was shot. Now let me be the first to appoligize for what happen. I believe that my brother as a man new what he was doing and will serve his time for the rediculous crime that took place. What i am so discussed with is the name in which many have called him. My brother first and for most is a son, a father, a brother and a friend to many. What you happen to not know about Thomas Miller is that as a child from birth to 20 was a terrfic kid. He never had a background record as a juvenile. He never smoked, drink or did any drugs. He was a basketball player and a very intelligent kid. He love picking up a dicitionary and learning new words. He had a promising career in music up to the point of this situation. I am aware that in most cases offenders are deffended by their family. Truely my brother wasn't a thug nor a killer. Thomas was a good boy trying to live the bad life. We as his family know this is not like him. It hurts hearing the thing people say about someone who they hear something about and you been knowing this person your whole life and thats really not them. Thomas didn't come from a broken home, where his mom was on drugs or anything for that matter. Look into the life of these offenders before you get to judge them by a crime they have commented. We again as a family believe that the actions that Thomas took on that day was not the right thing to do and he also wishes to appologize to the many lives in which he affected.
