MetroSafe taking step forward |
RE: MetroSafe taking step forward
Well said. We appreciate our dispatchers. Its probably somebody from the command staff spouting off stupid **** in the form of "officers" comments. It is a known fact they do it. They love to put there shots in here just to **** us off thinking it will divide us. I know of no officers that dont love our dispatchers.

What Union represents the Police Dispatchers, Teamsters? Does the IAFF still represent the fire department dispatchers?

Sorry, I just dont feel your pain. The stress you have down there isn't anything like the stress Officers face everyday. YOU ARE A SERVICE TO THE POLICE OFICERS, YOU TRACK OUR ACTIVITY AND SEND US CFS'S!!! So show a little respect to us and we'll all enjoy our jobs a litle better. Please don't forget that. Or get a new job.

I've been an officer now for 15 years. I'll admit my job isn't half as stressful as the dispatcher. They are over worked and underpaid. Sounds like you all should just call in sick one day. It'll hurt the Police but we'll live for one day while everyone sees how invaluable you are. I wonder how some officers would react if they were told they HAD to stay another shift whether thye liked it or not??
