Everyone posting here should take their own advice. You, yourself should not be posting on here if you don't know the whole story. Based on your comments, I dont' believe that you do either. Unless you know the process of an investigation, you do not understand the steps taken to make sure it is done accurately and complete. This is the reason for time spent at the location. Everyone who has watched the news coverage is fully aware that Evan did fire his gun which verifies he did have a gun. Police officers are trained in how to handle a dangerous situation, as this officer done as he was trained to do. Noone's life is worth losing for any reason but, decisions that are made during their life comes with consequence and sometimes that is very unfortunate. As soon as the investigation is fully complete, their will be a full explanation and everyone will know the facts. And the facts is what everyone needs to realize is what this will be based on, not the past of Evan or the officer, not the life they were leading, not what he said or she said and not the rumors, but what happened at the moment, that night and under those circumstances. The family and friends of Evan deserve the right to miss and love him and pray they are never in the same situation with a gun as he was. The family and friends of this officer deserve the right to love him and want him to protect himself and the community from harm. For anyone and everyone who could ever be put in this situation, remember to educate your children to best of your ability and pray they will always take those lessons to heart.
