It's called adreneline you IDIOT!!! It makes people do some pretty spectacular things. I have seen people that have been shot more than 4 times and continue to fight on. My uncle was shot and blown up in Vietnam and he continued to fight. So don't sit here and tell everyone that just because he wasn't a big kid that he could not fight until his body gave out.

Okay, let me first just say that I kinda understand where you're coming from... I don't think most of the general public realizes that YES!!!! most humans can fight through being shot multiple times given the right circumstances.

There have been numerous documented cases of people continuing to fight with a hell of a lot worse injuries that Evan's, at least until their bodies run out. Hell, just ask any soldier who has seen action recently in Iraq. I've had friends of mine complain that they had to shoot the enemy ten or twelve times before they finally went down. (no, the enemy didn't have body armor). You don't have to take my word for it, there are libraries full of examples of what I'm talking about if you do a little research. Bullets are not magical, and they often do not immediately elliminate the threat.

Secondly, Police Officers do not take the time to slowly and methodically count how many rounds they fire. It would be incredibly stupid and risky if the officer only fired one shot, and then waited 30 seconds to evaluate the results. In the real world, especially at close range, you fire a burst of several rounds in order to elliminate the threat as quickly as humanly possible.

I am real "kid". Some of the people on here talk about soldiers that were shot at and killed their enemy etc etc. Well here, Evan wasnt a soldier and had no education or knowledge on how to protect himself. If he was already on the ground and had no where else to go, what makes you think he is going to fire at more than one officer at the scene? Evan isnt stupid and yea im sure you may say well he was stupid for doing any of the things he did, but did you not do stupid things as a teenager? He was caught up in a lot of crap and needed help. I can see how he might have been a threat, but um...its weird how evan, being shot 5 times can have time to bury a gun. why would he bury it anyways if the police knew he already had it? If it showed that he was finally giving up, was he still a threat? Or maybe the police officers thought of another medal was going through his head.."Geeze that would look great in my office"!! well SCREW ALL YOU IGNORANT PEOPLE who think he got what he deserved as if there was no other way to figure this out. im done with this page and just hope our community finds other ways to lessen a threat, not shoot someone dead.
