In response to the MAIN comment in this post- about how IRONIC the writer seems to think it was that the officer continued to do his job.

OK WE ALL KNOW THAT ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT KNEW EVAN ARE MOURNING, there isnt a soul out there who hasn't lost someone they care about whether you want to believe it or not, POLICE OFFICERS do mourn too.

To continue-Unlike the average person in society who gets a Migraine at work and asks their boss if they can go home because they dont feel well, that is not quite the lifestyle that these BRAVE people face everyday.

The OFFICER as you stated OFFICER H, still had a job to do regardless of what he may have wanted to do after this took place. TRUST ME, I am 100% positive that not only him, but any officer would love to go straight home at night after such a tragic accident and just be with their family, but officers dont have that option. Instead the officers get to spend the next 12-24 hours going back over what had happened and piecing the accident with a quick call to the family, only to say they are OK.

So soak on that for a little while and then of course as always everyone has something to say, so come back let us know what else you can pull out of your hat! You have no idea what officers go through daily, let alone when something like what happened that Monday occurs.

The comment on 'protecting yourself from a kid laying flat on the ground' I can not wait until the real story comes out. But even then, it isnt gonna matter to you or anyone else who has decided that ALL OFFICERS are bad, because you are going to believe what you want regardless of the FACTS.

THANK YOU LMPD FOR KEEPING US SAFE EVEN WHEN YOU KNOW TODAY MIGHT JUST BE YOUR LAST YOU STILL KEEP GOING. YOUR BRAVERY DEDICATION TO KEEPING THIS TOWN SAFE IS ALL THAT MATTERS! As hard as it may be, dont let what the people on here say negatively about Officer H or our LMPD bring you down or even to lower yourself to that level, because the people that matter already know the truth!
