The sad case is yes Evan and his friends were WANT A BE's. They hadn't the first clue as to what a true gang banger was. But yes he may have found out. The house was owned by grandparents of twin boys Evans age. It has been used several times for kids to have parties. The parents of the twins live next door and were well aware of what was going on.
