You don't need to be a criminal justice major to figure this one out. My 4yr old has enough common sense to know that if someone points a gun at a police officer your going to be shot at.

I tell what good could come out of this situation, is for you to drop out of law school NOW! You will be one of these ******** defense attorneys, that keep these little shitbags out on the street. You don't have a clue about the radio transmissions. How about this, we give you a gun and a little shithead a gun, and you see how long it takes you to decide whether you want to live or die? YOU'RE AN IDIOT

"On the ground" doesn't that mean they are not in a vehicle but on foot ? Does turning your life around mean breaking into someone's home, stealing what they worked hard to acheive and carry an armed weapon? Boy that statement is really confussing. But yes it is sad to see a life wasted at such a young age. But is that the police officer's fault? I'm sure he wants to go home to his family at night and not be used for a target buy someone that has no respect for life. Hat's off to the officer for doing his job and protecting the community. He is a lot braver than I am because I would be afraid to do his job ! !

Sir,you need to listen to the radio transmission again. The officer said, "A NICKEL PLATED PISTOL HOLDING IT TO "HIS" HEAD".NOT the policemans head! The next transmission from the officer is 5-6 seconds later."I'M 1086,GO AHEAD,GIVE ME SOME CARS TO "EASE" OVER THIS WAY" Now was the officer confused when he said he was "1086,and to "EASE" the cars on over his way??.Did the subject drop the gun during this 5-6 seconds time?I would think he must have,or the officer would not have called in "1086" ,and "EASE" the cars over.Plus he would probably shot him at this time.

About 25 seconds after the "1086" Air 10 says "HE'S GOT HIM ON THE GROUND".

About 10 seconds later the "SHOTS FIRED" traffic was made.Another 10 seconds and its the "1080,1086" call.Only "Air10" and the officer who was involved can really tell what happened after he was took to the ground. My personal opinion is that if the subject still had control of a gun,he would have been shot without being taken to the ground.Since earlier the officer called "1086, EASE THE CARS ON OVER THIS WAY".So what really happened? Will we ever know?

On behalf of Evan's family thank you for saying what you did.

We miss him very much and no it should not of ended like this. He just got mixed up with the wrong crowd and he paid he ultimate price for that. But he is in a better place and does'nt have to run any more. Thank you again and I hope that justice will be done.
