Let's do a little math:

Handgun + Burglary + Potential Victims in the Area = ARMED ROBBER (more or less)

If an armed robber wants to run from me, turn, and point a gun at me then I can promise you I'm going to do everything in my power to shoot him first. Any you know what, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Frankly, it's more important that I go home to my kids in one piece. I don't feel the least bit guilty about that, and I never will.

I beleive that the last individual that shot and killed a police officer in Louisville was 17 years old. When you are old enough to take the responsibility of carrying a gun and make the poor decision that you did, then age doesn't factor into the equation.
