I know this officer, I watched him grow up from a fine boy into a wonderful man, a great father and an outstanding police officer. I have no doubt that he did what he had to do. If I am ever in a life threatening situation, I pray that this officer is the one who answers the call. Instead of the media talking to the victims family and friends, who only want to condemn the officer, maybe they should talk with those of us who know him and only have the utmost respect for him, not only as a police
