Derby Cruising Ban Criticized as Racist...Chief Defends Decision

Here's an idea: Let's just put up a huge fence around the West End. Let everyone live, lawlessly, like they all want. Let them murder, cheat, steal, rape, and so on and so on... Let them all kill themselves, and blame everyone else. When they're all gone, and they have nothing else to complain about, the city will rejoice. The officers can do their jobs, peacefully. The rest of us can sleep at night. It's absolutely ridiculous, that over the past 60-70 years, the city, the state, the country, as a whole, has done everything in their power to eliminate discrimination. How sad, that every decision made in this city, for the betterment of the city, has to be criticized and blamed on the white people by the black people. I thought everyone was equal now? It sickens me to see the "West End" residents play the race card every chance they get. How ignorant you all must be. How sad.

The only reason Broadway cruising has been stopped is because it's dangerous. Period. Dot. End of sentence. Should be the end of the discussion. Unfortunately... the residents of the West End, and whomever else they invite to our city to destruct it and themselves, are too ignorant to see it that way.

I say, put up a fence around the West End. Let them cruise within their fenced in boundry, and do whatever else they feel the need to do. Let them self destruct. The rest of us are tired of dealing with you anyway.
