No indictment in fatal crash |
RE: No indictment in fatal crash
This should have never made it to te Grand Jury in the first place. Why is it that everytime some scumbag dies an innocent police officer's life dangles by a thread. This departments administration bends over for everyone except its own officers.

RE: No indictment in fatal crash
This was a no-brainer. But my question is about the other accidents, that have lead to injury or death. If an EMS vehicle driver or Fire Department vehicle driver had done the exact same thing as the LMPD officer did in the other crashes, would the driver have been charged? Answer is... YES! Because, when it comes down to the what the KRS says quite simply is; A driver of an emergency vehicle may disobey certain traffic laws while responding to an emergency situation, but must use "DUE REGARD" AT ALL TIMES! obviously this was not used, in the other incidents.
I am so tired of hearing about how the LMPD is faced with so many negative people... WHEN OUR HOUSE IS CLEAN, NO ONE CAN SAY IT IS DIRTY. IT IS TIME TO CLEAN OUR HOUSE, BEACUSE OBVIOUSLY IT IS NOT PASSING INSPECTION. This is not an; US-AGAINST-THEM, this is; TO PROTECT, TO SERVE AND TO UPHOLD... With others and with our own. If you do not like that, then you should not have become a "PUBLIC SERVANT" as in to serve the public.
When one of our own is wrong, we should be the first to hold up the light and say, yes they are and will be held accountable for their actions, just like everyone else. We actually need to be held to a higher standard, because we are on a higher standard, if we want to be like everyone else, well then we are in the wrong profession. It is a simple as that.
