Well that's about the most unique officer involved shooting I've seen in a long time. A 92 year old woman and she successfully struck all three officers?!?! Yikes...that's one hell of a fiesty woman

(I'm mean that in jest, don't flame me)

"There was no reason they had to go in there and shoot her down like a dog."It is tragic, but why make a statement like that? What were the officers supposed to do???

Mmmmnn, this one will be interesting. They knocked and announced, and then what? How was her hearing and vision? Did she have reason to know that it was, in fact, the police? How were they actually dressed? (The article says plainclothes, were they in ninja black?) I understand they had a warrant, had they done a risk matrix, did they realize who was in the house? This one will be interesting to watch play out.

What I wonder is what type of drug warrant? what type of information led them to this "drug house"? How come there were only 3 officer serving a drug warrant? Did anyone verify who actually lived there and what type of risk assessment was followed? Now I feel that the officer's returned fire in good faith, since she did fire her weapon and hit all 3, but also there is the fact that an elderly woman managed to shoot 3 officers, how did this happen? Obviously there was either an under estimation of the situation or there was a a lack of procedure folloed. But I still want to know what type of drug warrant and the basis for the warrant and was the a complete information verification, before the application for the warrant? 3 officers wounded, 1 woman dead. Either way, slight skewed-jack.
