This could not be better said! I am the wife, sister-in-law, daughter and niece of police officers and I get so disgusted with society and especially the media. It seems that so many people have no respect and appreciation for our law enforcement officers these days, but who do they call first when they need help? We all need to keep in mind how we experience and deal with day to day stress and then put ourselves in the police officer's shoes. Not only do they have their own individual stresses and burdens, but they have those of everyone they deal with. These folks are as human as the rest of us and some of the situations and sights they ecounter would be quite disturbing to many of the rest of us, yet they keep going day in and day out. I Thank God they are there for all of us, contrary to what some believe. My thoughts and prayers are with this officer and especially his family.

Police Officers are very much over stressed. after wittnessing all you do on the streets, when you make it home, it makes you realize you have it made. But the Officer that hancuffed his wife to the bed? what did she do to make him do this? did anyone that worked with him notice any changes about him? I hope he gets the help he needs, Stress affects different people in different ways, I hope he overcomes this. and all is well, His wife probably has done something to make him snap. Blessings to all.
