RE: Fatal Accident Involving LMPD Officer
Uhh, you aren't supposed to be driving in the gore, that's why it is hatch-marked off, so if he was standing in the gore, he was protected. Isn't that exactly what Brown did when he was 17, hit a guy standing in the gore? I agree his actions are a contributing factor - but where does it say you are "supposed to " do those things? Common sense, sure, but no where does it say you are supposed to do those things.
RE: Fatal Accident Involving LMPD Officer
Thanks for supplying the facts. I have wondered how the accident happened. I didn't feel like the media was giving it to us straight. (I wouldn't know what that felt like if they did actually tell the truth.)
I can understand how this accident happened now. I guess that's why it's called an accident, not murder. Best wishes to the officer's recovery. My prayers are with the family of the person killed.
