Well thought out, you should be a writer.

I do feel sorry for all involed; but I have to ask wasn't he looking were he was going; and for your post you bought up some good point's; and not all the police officer's are bad; but just sit back and look at the whole picture over the year's; with all the out of control action's; shooting's beating's and the list goe's on. Bottom line you won in the court's but not in the eye's of the public; you don't have the respect of the city ; the new's media; the public; the community at large; and I don't think you ever will with your current way of thinking.

This is probably the best post I have read on this site in a really long time, kudos go out to ever spent the time to write it. Hope to see more of these in the future

We do hear about tachers and military, etc. I used to be naive like you....pity...

Obviously, you must be WHITE. You have NEVER experienced the discrimination from the LMPD. I am a honest, hard working, law abiding citizen, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time...humiliated by the LMPD.

I have lived in the US all my life...no accent. Treated horribly because they thought I was an illegal immigrant....

I showed up in Court w/a prominent private attorney and the case was thrown out on lack of evidence from the LMPD of any wrong doing on my part.

That's the dumbest statement: of course I want to feel safe, be safe, have the law around when I need them...yet, that DOES NOT give them the authority to be asses whenveer they want. They ARE NOT my God.

They should be, NEED TO BE held accountable for their actions, just as you and I should be. I hope I am around when the day comes you find yourself face to face with the LMPD...for no reason , other than one of them has had a bad day!!!

So, until you have personally experienced their wrath:

STOP TELLING OTHERS' HOW THEY SHOULD FEEL, HOW THEY SHOULD BE GREATFUL FOR THE LMPD.
