Yes they were Corrections Officers. This is not the first incident that they has LMPD looking like the bad guy from there screw ups. (they need to stop undercutting the off duty). gas station @ 1st and Jefferson: they assaulted an off duty officer who was intoxicated and then got the person's 2 sgts reassigned and another still under investigation. gas station @ 1st and Jefferson: they were going to arrest a female for being intoxicated. They let her back into her car, she started it and drove off.
