The chopper is a duel control machine. The mechanic was training just as almost every news source has said. The flight instructor was teaching. Something obviously got out of control during that training. BTW, THERE ARE PRIVATE, COMMERCIAL, INSTRUMENT, and CFI RATINGS FOR BOTH FIXED WING AND ROTOR CRAFT. You might want to get all the info before posting here or at least fly a helicopter yourself before commenting on something you obviously, per your comment, don't understand.
