I am really pleased the Police prevailed over the Mayor. As a union worker there is nothing more sacred than your contract.

Without the contract management can dictate like tyrants. We are an educated society that should always stand up against the oppressor.

In this case Mayor Abramson got a little big for his britches once again and once again he lost publicly.

When will he learn that just because he WAS a popular mayor before that it doesn't extend to this term.

He had better realize soon that his popularuty is waning fast with these foolish decisions that are costing us taxpayers money. He said he was trying to save money, yet he gets caught up in an unwinnable legal battle instead of addressing it at the contract table. He says he was trying to be fiscally responsible ---- since when?

This is the Mayor that started BLUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE and the same Mayor that has umpteen deputy mayors, spokesweanies, admiministrative assistnts & two personal bodyguards.

How many meals have you cooked in your $147,000.00 kitchen for your office Jerry?

Congratulations on your victory! But stay vigilant! Jerry is a sneaky snake, and for him to concede so quickly to the arbitrator should make one think he has something else up his sleeve. Great job!

Congratulations FOP! Your effort and leadeship have raised the bar for this tryant mayor. His efforts to break the backs of the unions and bypass written agreements is the worst in our city's history. He tries to fool the public by saying he is trying to save tax dollars. Who does he think he is talking to? We all see his lavish spending on frills for his office and parties and our of town trips. Everyone is just begining to realize how much money he wasted his 1st 13 years in office and now he is going to be held more accountable. He hasn't done anything to cut waste but fire minimum wage employees and hire his cronies at exhobitant salaries.

I was driving down I-64 yesterday and say this huge glaring billboard, "EAT DRINK AND MEET JERRY" It had a huge picture of Mayor Saddam Abramson on it. What kind of egomaniac tyrant needs to put his picture everywhere? What is next? A statue of King Jerry? Get a life you loser!
