Don't forget the increase in health insurance costs which really does work out as a pay cut (even though the package is still very good). You have to watch out though, my last employer charged about $60 a month when I started and when I left 4 years later it was around $300 a month. Employers will sneak a gradual increase in there and down play it because it's not part of the pay scale, but it really does equate to less pay....
