8th Division Officers Apprehend Armed Robbery Suspect

Earlier this week, 7th Divison Midwatch collared an armed robbery suspect who robbed Mcdonalds on Preston @ Blue Lick. Recoverd the handgun that he ditched in the foot chase etc. How come we only hear of certain arrests. Nice work 7th Divison!!!!!! I don't think this is a place to have a pep rally. If so then we need to have every nice arrest listed.

Congratulations on getting in a pursuit and arresting a violent felon without being suspended, fired or charged by the department yourselves! It can still be done! Quite impressive! You forgot to give Chief White and Jesus some of the credit though.

I don't feel that they need to take the comments off. There is always someone out there that is negative. I do think that they should only start letting the members only leave comments. Then if they would like to monitor them then they can and if they get out of hand then block them.

It's posted here and newsworthy because it happened in the 8th Division...Wally World, where a headlight out is a major traffic stop! (Just joking around....8th division Ofc don't get your ******** all in a twist!)

here we go again an Officer makes a good arrest that just so happens to be in the east end and it becomes a county / city fight...I'm a suburbanite and I've worked cases and served dynamic warrants in the "oh so tuff inner city"...yeah downtown is more out of control but is that something to be proud of??? criminals are criminals if you think they don't leave the "city" your a freggin idiot...give the guys in the 8th the creds they deserve...GOOD JOB GUYS

What a bunch of immature kids, you guys belong on medication. You wear badges? I mean if you really feel this way about your job and the accomplishment of others , go away, give those badges to your supervisor and deliver pizza's. Things could be worse.

The truth is there is always someone on this dept doing a good job. Maybe they don't get the praise or the pat on the back or any kind of recognition, but that has been the way with this place for the last 20 years so it's not going to change. If you take care of people out there you know you've done a good job so who cares about the praise. I feel as good knowing I gave a homeless person 5 dollars for a meal as well as locking up a felon, I hope you feel the same. No this job does not consist of how many people you can put in jail, but how good you feel about yourself for what you do each day. If I go to work and do MY JOB and go home in one piece then I consider I have done my duty. I just want to sleep good because I know I can trust the next shift doing the same for me. Yes, we have a THANKLESS job as far as this administration goes but the majority of the people in this city think we do a good job. Only the crooks and media think different. So to all my brothers, here is your praise, I THINK WE ALL DO A GOOD JOB. Keep up the good work.
