EMS Union Upset About Proposed Changes

I don't understand if things are as bad with the admin and chief as I read about on here how a guy gets elected in as FOP president can have any side deals with the chief. How does something like that happen? Doesn't make me feel very good about the odds of getting jerry out of office next year no matter how bad a job he does. People have got to start paying attention to who they vote for or maybe more important, who will win if they don't vote in the first place. Sounds to me like this site is going to be nothing but a pr site for those in charge.
