Some Metro workers double, triple salaries with overtime

Mmmn, but there are two deputies in the last dozen or so years from Jefferson Co, and only only one city officer, so how about showcasing THEIR graduations? (And certainly the incident yesterday with a Jefferson Co. deputy could have had tragic consequences, as well.) So, West Buechel officers (and Shively, and Audubon Park, and J-town, etc.) aren't as important as LMPD officers?

And if you looked nationally, you'd find there are quite a few of them on the list - they are just called different things in different places - game warden, conservation officer, etc.

Maybe it is because the F&W guys are better trained and equippeed to work in their environment? Do you want to go out into the woods in the middle of the night looking for drunk hunters with high powered rifles? Or try to give a drunk boater a FST? Of course, they aren't POLICE officers - according to the court that ruled on the guy that killed Doug Bryant, either - so I guess it doesn't matter to the more important city police officers ....
