A Message from my Brother

Very well writen. As a retired LPD officer with 25 years, I found myself relating to the writer the more I read. I left the 4th District after my first 6 years and never wanted to go back even after being promoted. My family has told me I changed after getting on the police department and after several years after leaving the Fourth, changed back to my old self. After all the misery and poverty, I gues it does change you. I know some of you young guys are going to say I don't know what i'm talking about and maybe I don't. But after the kids are gone, the mortgage is paid and youre working life is over, things look a lot different. You all will be there someday too. Be carefull
