New Orleans Sheriff Disputes Allegations of Corpses At Jail

October 7th, 2005 @ 12:42PM (19 years ago)

Here's the question - if there was a mandatory evac - why weren't they evacuated earlier? Kind of hard to charge nursing home operators for not evacuating, and not charge other people who didn't evac people in their custody. What was their plan? Did they follow it?

I don't know what happened in the NOLA jail, but just the fact that they were there during a hurricane points to a problem. Yes, I know it is a pain to evacuate 6,000 people, but ... there should be a plan for moving prisoners if need be. What about our jail? What's the plan there?

Like most people these human tight's groups are spouting off and repeating rumors. Even the Police Chief did that. Remember him crying and saying babies were being raped in the superdome? That was all a bunch of bunk too.

Ok. First it would be interesting to see first off if the jail was indeed flooded. Many areas of New Orleans received no flood damage. Secong if it was flooded, how high did the water get? In Louisville athe inmates aren't housed in the ground floor, but then again we are talking about new orleans where corrupt democrats probably scammed the money for a proper jail and used it for themselves. Reminds me of Harvey Sloan when he decided we wouldn't need that much jail space and cut the top two floors off the hall of justice. We ended up renting space for years before the new jail was built.

Gee, imagine that. Prison inmates are complaining and lying. What really gets me is there are liberal groups that believe their lies. Oh those poor suffering men. Bullcrap they are the scum of society and they deserve a lot worse thatn they are getting. Prison should be hard on them and should be a place they never want to go back to. Funny I have read the constitution numerous times and I don't recall using the phone to talk to your girlfriend or smonikng cigarettes as one of the inalienable rights handed down by our founding fathers.

Prisoners only lie because of The Man oppressing them.
