If a convicted felon was pointing a gun at you, would you want the officer to wait and make sure that he was really pointing at you and not the tree behind you before firing his weapon? When will you morons understand that the safety of our officers and the law abiding public should be the only thing that matters! If someone pulls a gun on a "plumber" and they shoot, it is considered self defense and he certainly doesn't face a civil lawsuit, but a policeman is charged with murder. . . that is wrong!
