I hate to break it to these folks, but MOST homicides are committed by people who know each other. It isn't like there are all these "stranger" murders out there. One of my neighbors mentioned an interesting theory. (Yes, I live very close to one of the Tuesday murder sites.) He had the impression that the demographic of the neighborhood had changed in the last six months by an influx of people pushed out of Clarksdale. Don't know if there is anything behind it, but ... would be interesting to know
