Schools face shortage of resource officers

Amen. This is the perfect job for someone nearing retirement. As for a rookie applying for this that should be a giant RED FLAG. They should be shown the door as quickly as possible to save us some headaches down the line. I know I'm going way off into left field here but shouldn't teachers teach in the schools and cops run the streets????
