All the billboards and tiplines in the world are not going to stop this cycle of violence. I am sure the violent crimes taskforce is made up of top-notch officers but this is also a knee-jerk reaction. Louisville is not going to see any measurable decline in violent crimes unitl the people who fight it (POLICE) are freed to do their jobs AND...AND they know they are going to be backed by the chief, mayor, and commonwealth atty.
