Rehiring LMPD Officers

forced was the wrong word to use. I applied as a lateral and was told that LPD would not hire laterals, period. The only way to get hired was to come on as a fresh recruit. They later (much later) started to hire lateral back. From not being from here I did not have the time to wait and see if they would start to hire laterals again.
