It's disgusting that Mayor Abrahmson is spinning his budget. The mayor is bringing the department close to its authurized strength of 1250, but he is saying in the press he is "adding" 100 new officers. To quote RCW, what a crock of crap. The mayor could add 300 new officers, and the crime rate will continue to rise as long as he, Slug Hamilton, Bob White and Turner run things.
