Truth will out. It must. The Bible says even the stones will cry out the truth if no one will dare speak it.

Abramson is the quintessential confidence man. Not only has he conned Louisville, he has conned the nation. His relentless, unabashed self-promotion outside the borders of Louisville is an important reason he maintains a grip on power. The way to defeat him is to interest the outside press in exposing this dangerous charlatan. The best way to do that is to begin a citizens' impeachment effort against Abramson. Abramson has left himself wide open to the accusation of malfeasance of office. Ordering police to stand down in the face of riotous, illegal behavior caused the lawless climate which resulted in murders, rapes, vandalism and property loss during Derby weekend. This is impeachable, I haven't the slightest doubt.

The national press will smell blood if citizens launch an impeachment drive. There is nothing the press likes better than finding out an emperor has no clothes. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. King Abramson is due.

How about rounding up some of the guys that are retired - if they rest of you aren't willing to talk. The media NEEDS the information. Seems like half the department has moved east to the sheriff's office, surely you guys have someone, like Dotson, who knows the history and would be willing to explain it? Or do they guys who are retired just wash their hands of their former brothers/sisters in arms?

And yes, most of the CJ reporters will respect anonymity, but don't ever, ever, every trust Doug Profitt.

And I suspect you'd find that general order is unconstitutional.
