Michael Newby's Family To Proceed With Lawsuit

I know my idea is very off beat and probably not politically correct, but why not have a legal service counter-sue the family of Newby for knowingly allowing him to continue in illegal activieis and also for legal fees, mental anguish and defimation of character for the Detective.

Well, let's see. Newby's family had an offer from the city of $200,000 and they didn't take it? How greedy can you be? Newby probably would not have legitimately made $200,000 in his life. They should have take the money then, because in light of recent events, the climate in Louisville has shifted and they probably won't get a penny now.

Calling Criminal 2X a civil rights leader is an insult to those who have and still work toward the fulfillment of the American dream for all citizens. Why not have a front page article about Criminal 2X's real name and his criminal convictions? How about an article on Jerry Bougess and his criminal history and what a wonderful role model he was for po'little Michael? I emailed my councilman and let him know, not one penny for wanta be cop killer Newby's family.

So...let me get this straight,,our chicken sh** mayor and his staff offer 200 grand to a convicted dope dealer for the " loss" of his piece of garbage step son and this wasn't enough?? What a joke!!! I think the only thing funnier is the fake tears and the so called concern of criminal 2x that the Communist Urinal continued to printing during the whole ordeal!! Oh,and I love the pictures of poor little mikey in the paper, wearing a tux,was that to one of his arraignments in juvenile court?? you know,for all the criminal activity he was involved in!! because Lord knows he was never in school. the only person the city should be making a settlement deal to in this situation is officer Mattingly!! for violations commited by our dearly beloved puppet chief and that worm of a Comm. Atty. for violating his rights and calling the incident a "bad shoot" before the investigation even started!!! Hey fellas,you might wanna check out the police officers bill of rights before you start shooting off your mouths, neither of you are allowed to speak of the investigation,much less pass judgement and convict someone in the media,before the investigation is complete!!!...Oh well.time to get off the soap box,, this is just my damn opinion..dont like it?? sue the city...what the hell,by the looks of it ,they'll pay for anything!!...oh one last thing,Mr B.,please buy a new suit....you are wearing me out with that same one. I'm sure you can get some of mikey's dope money and get one!!!! ........ stay safe, alert, back up your partners. and always remember,..." Let me share something with you. If you die as a result of someone else's actions and you file a wrongful death lawsuit then you can possibly win a judgement to make up for the dead persons lost future wages. In this case Newby was a dope dealer with no education. We pay for his education, we pay for his food stamps, we pay for his public defenders, we pay to support his children made out of wedlock,. So if we put all of those factors into the big wrongful death calculator.........the result is............oh man the family owes us the TAXPAYERS! Put the check in the mail today or we may sue you!

why are people complaining about cars. thank goodness you have a car to take home. and this dosen't have anything to do with the newby lawsuit by our good buddy 2x.

First, what is with the references to Christopher 2X as, â??Criminal 2Xâ?? Since becoming a public figure last year Christopher 2X has been upfront about his background and how that lifestyle ignited him to make positive change in the lives of young adults in the community. Surely supporters of the police department do not dissuade former felons from embarking on roads to positive change, do they?

Unfortunately the same people who make snide remarks about 2X still think referring to the Courier-Journal, as the â??Communist Urinalâ? is edgy punditry.

There are a lot of people in this city doing a lot of good for the youth but it seems the CJ never writes anything positive about a non-felons doing anything good. If it's not Coleman,2X or the Newbys their not interested. Look at Sat Metro section about Coleman wanting to start his own schools because JCPS aren't good enough for him. I lable these people as trouble makers who wouldn't be happy if you gave them the city. That's my opinion, just as you have yours.

why are we offering them any monet to start with, we did nothing wrong. Paying them is the same as saying we did something wrong. I will never understand.
