Fixing the problem

1. Stengel

2. Maze

3. Whichever judges "touched" the case in any way - both in juvenile and in circuit court

Is the FOP willing to support a Republican in the first two positions - judges run non-partisan so that shouldn't be a factor - but are they willng to support new names running for those offices?

The weird thing is - Mary Allen at least used to work for the County Attorney's office - she retired from the City Law Dept and followed the attorney she worked for there to the County Attorney's office when the Law Dept. disappeared with merger. (Don't know if she is still there but I know she's the same person.) So it isn't like she didn't know what options were available - such as taking out a juvenile MIW against him. Did his parents report him missing when he didn't come home? Did JCPS go after him, and his parents, for truancy? Did his parents draw a check for him - which would have made them reluctant to have him behind bars? Did they report him when he skipped HIP? Lots of blame to go around.

And who was paying for T. Clay to represent this kid all these years - he ain't cheap!
