I am suprised Louis hasn't started saying this is all a big cover up... You know he wants to. You know there is a stupid comment comming along those lines.

To Mr. Rucker's family even though he was a criminal, you stll love him. ou would be much better off if in your next interview you would let everyone know that you did not approve of what he did, you do not make excuses for him, but that you still loved him. May God have mercy on his soul.

The response from the JRC is that they won't appoligize for their remarks made the day of instead of finding out the facts. To the citzens and media that read these comments, I hope you realize the JRC dosen't come out on every shooting no matter the color, just the ones that they can say is racially motivated from the police (white / black / hispanic or whatever the officer). The men and women of the police department, no matter what race they are, are citizens also trying to do the best they can to protect this community and families from harm. To have comments made by groups like this only shows that they don't support the laws that we are trying our best to uphold, but what ever they feel the laws should be. We as police officers have to deal with the laws on the books not what ever we think should be a law and not a law. Because of this we get blasted. If you want the laws changed, then tell the your local representative for the state that you want some changes. Tell them that they should change the laws that make it okay to shoot at officers while selling drugs, robbing people and places, pointing guns, knives and behind the wheel of cars towards officers that respond to threats of lethal force being brought against others and them. Tell them you think that methlabs should be legalized along with marijuana and crack. What ever it is that you have bring it up to them and see what they say. Before you do that though, think of how much of a fool you will be and look like (example JRC) and think about what you will say before you say anything. Officers are here to win for the community and if we can't protect ourselves, then how are we going to protect the community. Before you question if a taser would have done the job, use a little COMMON SENSE and think of this first - Tasers are a non-lethal option where guns are lethal and you never use a non-lethal over lethal if the higher is brought in to play.......

It's just a tax exempt title for him. Another way to swindle money from the government.
