Jackson is a great choice for you guys. She is Pro Police. I think we should all stand up and nominate Rebecca Jackson or Doug Hawkins for the next mayor, make sure your voices are heard and make sure that Jerry "the coward" Abrahamson does NOT get re-elected!!!!

You all cannot even stand together much less stand behind anyone. Give us a break from all of your fiery rhetoric! The FGP talks the tough talk but cannot walk the tough walk. Your surveys are sooooo scary to King Jerry & his servant, White. Have you seen them shaking in their slippers? Get it together...............

This police department cannot afford 6 more years of this jackass. We will get no pay, benefits will be cut even further, cars will be driven longer and White will still be the boss. Moving would be the better option for me. Is Ford hiring?

This man's choke hold on the city is stealing the life from public workers in general, especially the police. His 'fat cat' cabinet with thier excessive salaries and luxury SUV's are prospering while us working class get nothing. 15 years Jerry, move on! Term limits are in place for a reason. The purpose is to keep one person from becoming too powerful--exactly what has happened in King Jerry's world.

Its like this folks, you cannot vote "out" Jerry, you must have a strong candidate to put up against him. You have to unite and point out what he "has not" done for metro Louisville. Nothing has changed for the former county residents as far as services go "snow removial a joke" It is going to take a strong candidate like Ann Northup, Jackson, or someone with a track record that the people of this community can look at and make an informed choice as to where this metro city needs to go. The FOP can become a strong force in educating the community about the difference between "cheerleading" and doing positive things for the community. Someone who will use local talent to manage EMS, Corrections, Police, Fire, and other city departments, someone who can move forward with real programs, someone who will deal with crime as crime should be delt with, agessive, firm, but fair. All the talk about surveys etc doesn't mean squat except to point out there are problems and leaders need to deal with those problems in a fair way. No, the FOP cannot "vote Jerry out"

but they can come together with facts and figures and put together a unified plan to back a candidate who will lead this community, all of this community, and not let the voice of a very small minority decide the future of metro Louisville.

Surprise, Surprise. Will wonders, never cease.Imagine that..Like, what else has ole Jerry got to do. The FOP can talk the talk, but they can't walk the walk. All talk and no action..4 yrs, and they"re still whinning. You have a chance to grow some KAHONAS..and oust ole Jerry. And you start by uniting ALL metro employees, with work stoppage. But, you gotta grow a pair first........

We need not to wait for the election bu to make sure the public knows what a horse's rear end the mayor really is. I am tired of people saying "oh he's so nice!" They have never even sat in the room with the King of EVIL liberals. He is such a sarcastic, sociopathic and complete charlatain that he has so many people believing he is good. Why did you not see anything about Titan Industries and the corrupt deal Jerry made under the table with them in the Courier-Journal? Why did he say in today's paper that public safety was his number 1 concern? Because that is what it takes to get re-elected.....NO BAD PRESS and Tell the suckers they will be protected.

AS an Officer on LMPD I will always do my utmost to protect you, but Jerry Abramson isn't doing crap about it. Our vehicles are falling apart, he has given his cronies at Nappa and Valvoline sweetheart deals. ( I wonder if he owns stock in those companies) ( Nappa parts are costing the police department 60 to 200% more than when they ran their own parts store AND Joe Citizen can go to Valvoline for $29 bucks to get his oil changed but Jerry signed a deal that lets them charge Metro Government $63 for an oil change. ) Those are correct and accurate figures.

Jerry Abramson is the king of pulling the wool over everyones eyes. He is a criminal awaiting prosecution for his corrupt actions. The public needs to know, but the media needs to spread the word. I am just a lowlely beat cop. I am sure one of our fine media outlets could do the neccesary open records requests to verify what I have said here. I am sure we are only viewing the tip of the iceberg. Jerry is evil. In the 1800's he would have been selling snake oil to people to cure them of all their ills.

Why are we always in the minority when it comes to getting our opinions and concerns heard? It's obvious that the majority of us in the FOP would like a more supportive Mayor. What are we doing to solicite a candidate? What are we doing to express our concerns to the media? besides the survey of rcw. Isn't it clear that everything rcw has done to us (negatively) has either come from the mayor's office or been supported by it. I'll be waiting to hear what our game plan is. P.S. FOP let your people know when something important and well organized is going to take place because a lot of us realize that the regular meetings don't get much of anything done in the likes of real change.

I mean listen up worms, if this is the case, GET OUT!!!!! Wheres Cubby?

People attracted to politics in this state are mostly a bunch of self-serving thieves and criminals. Just watch the MetroTV channel on cable and you can see what a bunch of j_a_c_k_a_s_s_e_s that we have in office here. Maybe we should outsource the job of the Mayor's office to Napa or Titan. It probably wouldn't be any worse than what we have now.
