You're right! They have said all we need to become merged is for the mayor to waive his magic wand and sprinkle us with some of his magic fairy dust and we would all become merged. Over night he actually believed that louisville magically became the 16th largest city. Well mayor Jerry, it doesn't work that way. You can't expect people to abondon ideas and traditions overnight just because you said so.

I remember talking about a ful time SWAT team 2 years ago that would act in the capacity of a Street Crimes unit everyday and then they would respond to call ups as neccesary.

Pro-active Law Enforcement is a thing of the past. We only have enough personnel to react to incidents anymore.
