No Confidence Surveys

It is a funny thing...How we as police officer and FOP members have been making such issues lately about "spin doctoring"... and this entry specifically says... No Confidence Surveys---"Vote of No Confidence Survey" .... NOW... what kind of a "SPIN" is that --- Looks like the President has his mind made up before hand... That is not good for the TURE Officers of LMPD........

You are correct.. I did spell true wrong... not a good typist.... as for SPI never been..... and my guess is I have been on the job much longer than you and the other whining babies on this site... and my guess is I have been involved in more FOP activities than you as well..... Keep typing and complaining... and if you are happy with this President... you get what you deserve and as a matter of fact you got it... 0% and now you pay for insurance.... sure miss the old county contracts that EVERYONE wanted so much................

So you think it was spin doctoring to call it what it actually is? Does anyone actually think that the questionnaire about how the chief has performmed would result in anything other than a "no confidence" result?

C'mon people! This guy has manupulated the system and degraded the department and casued so many problems it will take years to unravel them. Look at what has happened in Greensboro. Look at how he dismantled the system and crime went out of control and has only recently been showing progress because they put things back the way they were.

I proudly voted for merger. I did it because I thought we could take two fine departments and make them better by being on one radio system, under one set of policies and with all the information being shared. Unfortunately Robert White came in and fractured the department and disbanded units that shared information and could have made tremendous results had they been allowed to work as COunty Wide merged units. Instead we have nobody sharing information and nobody concentrating in a unified manner.

Yes it will be a vote of no confidence, look at the ammount of murders, look at the ammount of traffic deaths, look at the crimes that are reported and then ask yourself if you truly think he is doing a good job.

He has been here two years and all we have managed to do is lose officers at an alarming rate and listen to the propaganda that maybe we will have a radio system in November of 2006.

If Metro Narcotics hadn't been cut and Street Crimes hadn't been eliminated do you honestly think a FLEX Platoon from Dixie Highway would have been in the west end trying to make drug buys? McKenzi Mattingly was only doing his job, but they didn't have the knowledge of the area nor the intelligence of the local dealers that Metro and Street Crimes would have had.

It is January 8 2005, so how did the vote come out. How long does it take to count , not this long. If your holding out because White opened the door to some meetings with the President of the lodge then you bigger fools than I thought. IT IS TIME TO GIVE THE RESULTS, NO EXCUSES.
