National FOP Endorses President Bush

September 13th, 2004 @ 2:43PM (20 years ago)

The endorsement of President Bush by Law Enforcement professionals says quite a lot. We have for the first time in a long time a President that supprts protection of society by the people trained to handle the job.

We have a President that truly cares about thefreedos of America and protecting those freedoms from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

If anyone thinks differently than this it is because they have a limited grasp of the evil that can be committed from the common criminal to the terrorists that are stalking our country and our way of life.

There is nothing worse than to hear some liberal spout their hug a thug gospel about appealing to their better nature and trying to understand their differences. Just because you grew up in a nice neighborhood and family where people respected each other doesn't mean they did. Just because you value the rights of others doesn't mean the criminals do also. Just because you can't comprehend doing violence to another person doesn't mean you are are safe. You and your neighbors will be victims. Plain and simple. If you have something the other guy wants he will take it at any cost. This includes your money, your possesions and your life.

In a perfect world we would not have to worry about crime or terrorism. unfortunately there are people ot there that will hate you for what you have, where you live and what you believe in.

I hope and pray that one day we wil live in a society that reflects all of our attitudes on freedom and the rights that we enjoy in the United States of America. Criiminals and terrorists must be caught and incarcerated. Otherwise those wonderful freedoms that you enjoy and that other Americans have fought and died for will be meaningless.

I support President George W. Bush and his commitment to keeping America and the downtrodden of this world free from tryanny.

If we sit back and do nothing then we wil lose. We will see small petty criminals rise to power, like Adolf Hitler, Slobadan Milosovic, Sadaam Hussein....

History is full of examples of men that were allowed to go too far and millions have died because nobody stopped them.

There are people out there that hate because you are American. They hate you because you believe in a kind and loving God. They hate you becaue you are part of a society that believes all men are created equal and that all people should be free to choose.

For the first time in a long time we have a President that believes that we must act to protect our freedom instead of either pretending the problem will go away or that it will solve itself.

You cannot send food or money to a country whose leaders are committing genocide on their own people. Ask the ghosts of the Somalian children about it.

Please consider what I have said and think about what is important to you and your children. A society that is protected by a preofessional Police Agency, supported by government or one that is afraid to go out on the streets because the criminals have free reign.

Cudos to the Grand Lodge for endorsing President George W. Bush for re-election to a second term!!

I am personally grateful to the lodge for recognizing President Bush as a great man who, as a friend to law enforcement, is tough on crime; tough on criminals; and tougher on terrorists!!!

President bush will be recognized as one of our greatest presidents.

Sincerely,

Captain Sam Tucker, Ret.
