One officer in this unit is one too many! It is a total waste of manpower & money. I thought the chief said if it did not require a badge & a gun someone other than an officer would be doing it. As far as I know the only job around here that requires a badge & a gun is LAW ENFORCEMENT. If these officers are not enforcing the law or investigating violations of the law then it stands to reason that they do not need a badge or gun.
