Richmond is a quality establishment for the training of Police Officers. It is one the best training schools in the Nation. It is so good in fact that the Department of Criminal Justice Training is a model for other states. Kentucky State Police have even been considering sending their recruits to DOCJT for training. All telecommunicators in the state are required to attend a 4 week training class. The buildings are state of the art and the instructors are first class. You can bash LMPD but only
