Remember, there ARE other media outlets rather than TV news and the CJ. The media has to go through the PIO (because no one else will talk to them) and Louisville's PIOs are not the greatest. And unfortunately, the big outlets don't give reporters the opportunity to learn about what they must write about, and most are rather clueless about law enforcement work.
