District Realignment

Your comment was rather pointless. The media should be looking at all angles, but it seems that whenever a cop gets in trouble you are jumping on the bandwagon, but does a media person getting in trouble ever get on the news?

How about this, I'll trade you one for one on arrests of subjects in the media outlets vs. the police. Don't forget, this isn't sarcasm, it is reality. Police Officers are people too! They are human, they have mortgages, they go to church and they are taxpayers as well.

All I'm asking is that you do look at both sides. If you doubt the validity of the information here then for heaven's sake check it out.

Look at the number of officers that have left this year as opposed to previous years. Use your connections and talk to them and find out why they left.

Add up the numbers and see how long it takes to replace an Officer once he is gone. You cannot put experience on a 3" x 5" card. Something distressing is happening in this town and the MEDIA as the public watchdog should be finding out and reporting on it.

Lastly, the police aren't the enemy here. There are criminals in this society that are running rampant and there are not enough of us to go around. Our government is sticking its collective head in the sand and pretending there isn't a problem. Theywent an entire year before they hired another recruit clas in the wake of numerous retirements.
