Getting Away with Murder

In this day of all of the harted and terrorism, it is truly a sad day. Not only do our Officers have to be careful when dispatched to a call, it is really ashame that they have their lives taken by a motorist for a simple traffic violation. Does anyone realy know what it will take for our Officers in uniform to actually keep concerned citizens safe anymore. My father, deceased Jeff. Co. Deputy Sheriff nearly had his life taken away several years ago. Thank God that God was watching over him at that time in 1984. A simple misfire on the shell saved my father's life at that time. People of today do not care who they hurt as long as they get what they seek in life. They will do anything by all means to accomplish that goal. They don't care who they hurt in the process. My heart and prayers go out for the family of the deceased Deputy.
