You don't have to worry yourself about LMPD officers doing anything that might "cost the taxpayers money" since division patrol positions are about 50% manned now. All they do is take runs now. The department is about to pull out of all the task forces and send them back to the beat. With LMPD being such a problem child department the feds can hire more people instead of using LMPD.
