I didn't think it was possible, but after watching On Patrol Live over the weekend, I have even more respect for the police. The mental capacity of the people you all have to deal with though. Wow. You'll always be underpaid having to deal with that s***.

Nobody federally indicted anyone for the attempted murder of 2 LMPD officers in the 2020 riots. They only managed to indict a few officers for shooting pepper balls at someone or executing a warrant signed by a judge.

Don't risk anything for police haters. Take the paycheck and do the bare minimum until you can find a job working somewhere that the majority of the citizens, politicians, judges, prosecutors and lawyers don't hate you.

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/22127755-kelly-goodlett-information

On page 4 of the charges against Goodlett it says Goodlett didn't think there was enough recent information in the warrant affidavit about Taylor's house to get it signed by a judge. It also says she added in a false narrative to get around that.

She was allegedly the primary perpetrator of the civil rights offense resulting in Taylor's death. The defendant the US Attorney is supposedly giving the deal to is the one most guilty of the crime.

Do they really expect a jury to send all these other guys to prison for 10 years to life knowing that or would they just conceal this little tidbit from the jury?

Please consider giving

1 thing for sure, just like the previous chief. It is a repeat of where the f$$& is Waldo. Seriously was this the best the metro council or mayor could find???? Literally no leadership from her or the commanders from major on up at this point.

Louisville, you are at a crossroads. Do you accept a candidate blessed off on by your present mayor, or choose a different path for a change? We got here with a mayor who has done nothing but tear down a city, and his candidate of choice is the same guy with a different name. This is not about who has the D or R by their name this time. This is about trusting someone who will go all out to fix our city. This is about choosing someone who will make a hard turn towards doing the right thing and damn the critics. Their political party does not matter this time.

Louisville mayoral candidates trade blows as they accept separate endorsements

This country is being led by morons. Yeah lets pay off student loans and let the working taxpayer foot the bill. What a bunch of ********. Especially paying off loans where people majored in scrap that they would never get a good job to pay them off themselves. But let the carpenter, plumber, construction worker get taxed more to pay for theirnignorance.

Clay and Jaynes are correct. There's no way possible they could ever get an unbiased jury in Louisville or any other democrat city full of police haters. People have only pled guilty because they didn't have the money to fight the case in court. There's no chance of the prosecution getting any better than a mistrial even if they stay in Louisville. Federal prosecutors angling to be the next democrat nominee for high office don't care if they win or not, because they don't have to win to get the political donations they'll need. They just need to be reliably woke progressives who indict police.

https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/local/2022/09/07/louisville-department-justievery city with a population higher than 50,000 people experienced a double-digit increase in violent crime. Albuquerque had a 36 percent increase in that time. Other cities included Seattle, 27 percent; Los Angeles, 61 percent; Cleveland, 13 percent; Phoenix, 10 percent; and 20 percent in New Orleans.ce-doj-metro-police-investigation-patterns-mayor-chief-await-results/65474950007/

Most across the country now understand that the Washington DC democrat attorney version of what policing should be has gotten tens of thousands of additional people murdered since the Obama-Biden Administration began imposing it through consent decrees and using federal grant money as bait. The two candidates for Mayor also seem to understand that too. Fischer and the Washington lawyers are still intent on weakening police.

https://www.koat.com/article/violent-crime-skyrockets-in-cities-with-doj-consent-decrees/26347086

Violent crime skyrockets in cities who work with fed to curb police shootings. Nearly all of the cities that reached settlement agreements or consent decrees with the DOJ during the same time as Albuquerque have seen double-digit increases in violent crime - crimes like murders, rapes and robberies. Cops are also leaving the departments. Every city with a population higher than 50,000 people experienced a double-digit increase in violent crime. Albuquerque had a 36 percent increase in that time. Other cities included Seattle, 27 percent; Los Angeles, 61 percent; Cleveland, 13 percent; Phoenix, 10 percent; and 20 percent in New Orleans.

https://herrell.house.gov/media/press-releases/rep-herrell-demands-doj-end-consent-decree-stop-sabotaging-albuquerque-police

Rep. Yvette Herrell is urging Attorney General Merrick Garland to drop the Department of Justice's "consent decree" and monitoring scheme for the Albuquerque Police Department, which have made it harder for law enforcement to fight crime and protect their communities. "Violent crime is running rampant in New Mexico, and anti-cop Washington politicians are making it worse. This must end today."

For over seven years, Albuquerque Police have been subject to monitoring by the Department of Justice under a "consent decree," a legal agreement where the city enters into a civil settlement with the DOJ allowing close federal scrutiny and oversight of local law enforcement practices. This usually follows some form of alleged police misconduct. This has made it more difficult to safely police the Albuquerque community."

This consent decree has been in place for over seven years, cost millions of dollars, and failed to make our state's largest city safer or improve officer retention," wrote Rep. Herrell in her letter to Merrick Garland. "Rather, the opposite is true: In 2021, Albuquerque set an all-time record for homicides. According to the Associated Press, 'Albuquerque has shattered its annual homicide record, marking 117 killings within city limits in 2021.' Crime rates have sharply increased since starting in 2014 when the consent decree was enacted."

"In December, KRQE reported that 'in the first three quarters of 2021, Albuquerque had 111 violent crimes per 10,000 people, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). That puts Albuquerque in the top 10 most violent cities with populations of over 100,000 people.' By any public safety measure, our state's largest city is worse-off following enactment of this decree."

Mayor and LMPD chief address police reforms inspired by Breonna Taylor case as new details are revealed

Let's be clear on a few facts. This present chief could care less about this city, hell none of us see her as she stays locked behind doors in her office, and the fact she fled Atlanta PD after not only wrecking it but to avoid scrutiny. How we hired her is mind numbing. Fact this city went to crap under Fischer in less than 10 years. He hid scandal after scandal and facilitated hiring people to be the police that had no business wearing a badge. Not to mention refusing to pay officers a decent wage like other big cities which brought a less than desirable candidate. Last he hired Conrad who proved a train wreck of leadership top to bottom. That leadership helped facilitate Fishers agenda. Leadership and experience for our department mattered and what we see now is the result.Yet we hear crickets from our community when it comes to this.

Figure 1 of these days these 2 candidates for mayor are going to stop playing politics and step up and debate each other. Tell us what they are really going to do to stop the crime, improve our police department and its morale. Tell us with the B.S. of stonewalled answers how you won't pander to the mob and listen only to the good citizens of our community from the east end to the west end because those good, honest, law abiding citizens never get heard.

Crime jumps after court-ordered policing changes https://www.axios.com/2021/05/14/police-consent-decrees-crime-jump-reforms

An Axios review of FBI and Justice Department data on all 12 agencies under consent decrees since 2012 found that seven of them experienced jumps in violent crime rates in two years compared to the two years before they entered into the consent decrees.

Seattle saw a 27% surge in its violent crime during that period following its consent decree in 2012.

Albuquerque, N.M., a city that saw violent protests in 2014 following the shooting of a white homeless man, later experienced a 36% increase in its violent crime rate. Before its consent decree, the city had seen a 30-year low in crime.

Los Angeles County, a region of 10 million people, saw a colossal rise of 61% in its violent crime rate following a consent decree

Biden's Trans Policies Are Putting Men In Women's Prisons And Kicking Christians Out Of Law Enforcement

A lot of good cops are going to be pushed out over this, but at least criminals will be referred to by their preferred pronouns.

The government is also ordered to provide "guidance" to "State, Tribal, local, and territorial" law enforcement on these subjects. The goal is to take over all American law enforcement and fill it with leftist ideology on race, sex, and gender
