You can't be serious? The Republican Party has mostly remained consistent. The Democratic Party is just good at hiding their true motives and exploiting the less fortunate communities by making them believe that everyone else is to blame for their problems. There never was a reversal of platforms. The democrats just sucker and exploit whoever they believe they can use to help achieve their revolutionary goals. It's like telling someone a bunch of lies with the deliberate purpose of making them very angry, and then persuading them to support your cause by consoling them with lots of hugs and fake feel good talk. The Democratic Party has done exactly that on a large scale.
