Its probably best these west end gangs stick to victimizing unarmed highlands liberals, since carjacking is a capital offense in much of the county.

Crime got out of control thanks to Metro trying to do 21st Century Obama Cop and voluntarily behaving like one of those cities with a federal government-imposed consent decree.

Stop and frisk and long sentences is what brought crime under control in the 80s-90s. Criminals were afraid of being caught with a gun and getting sent away on PFO. Once the left convinced the politicians that they needed to free the criminals from prison and harass police until they laid down, much of Louisville became a hellish place to live.

When Louisville gets its federal consent decree handed down, it will have 2 choices. Option 1 is go along with it, watch crime go even higher, and join the ranks of the dozens of democrat cities losing their employees and companies to Republican-run states and counties. Option 2 is disband LMPD, issue new badges, patches and vehicle decals for the newly re-establish Jefferson County Police Department, tell the activists and lawyers to go screw themselves, and start policing like in the 80s-90s.

I have no doubt they will select option 1 and that Louisville will spiral into a terminal decline it will never recover from. Certainly no family deserves for their kids to get shot and killed by other kids in a lawless city, but the population has brought it on themselves through their voting choices. The party handing out all the free money have no interest in making the streets safe.
