Exactly. Not all about money and this POS mayor trying to your it as the best ever is an *** in and of itself. He forgets since he got here LMPD has had virtually zero in the way of decent wage increases this making it the worst paid agency. NO it is not just about money, but pride, respect, leadership and good standards. People want to know why our department has so many bad eggs, low standards and shitty hiring practices. Add in the desire of them to strip away basic rights of those willing to put their asses on the line only amplified the need to vote this down. No it is not about the money Mayor *******. It is about the core group of good officers hoping to instill some integrity back into an agency you and Conrad killed. Yes we agree with reform, but we also deserve basic rights with that. But reform would never have been an issue has you not burned this to the ground.

Exactly right. Policy reforms should be included in Policy and Procedure changes as well as changes in the Rules and Standards of Conduct. Social justice warrior and woke reforms have NO PLACE in a contract. Once the loud mouthed cancel culture mob weasels their way into LMPD contract negotiations, more and more of police officer's rights will be eroded away. Gutless Fischer only gave the woke mob say in the contract in order to placate the riotous minorities in the west end. Another fine example of Fischer's policy of appeasement. Vote Republican.
