You may think that telling officers "good job" for catching a pedophile child abductor in the act and saving a child would be something the Mayor, Chief, some Metro Council members, and other self-important people in suits might want to at least be involved in. They were not. Doing anything remotely positive is career-ending for a democrat or a higher-up serving democrats. It's nice Louisville still has some good decent leaders representing the people, courtesy of the voters in the rest of the state.
